History: The Browning Arms Company introduced the Medalsit semi-auto target pistol in 1962 featuring a 6 3/4" vent rib bull barrel, adjustable rear sight and checkered rosewood colored wood grip with large flared thumbrest. This pistol came in a hinge top black hard cover case with a red felt interrior and optional barrel weights. The pistol was also manufactured with factory full coverage engraving in a couple of variations. The pistol was discontinued in 1976 with 24001 pistols manufactured.
