Ruger Old Model Bearcat & Super Bearcat Single Action Revolvers: (1958 - 1974)
Ruger introduced the old model Bearcat single action revolver in 1958 as a smaller variation of their Single Six revolver. This alloy framed 22 LR revolver with a 4" barrel and fixed sights was manufactured until 1970 when it was replaced with their Super Bearcat. The Super Bearcat was nearly identical with the most significant difference being the steel frame. The Super Bearcat model was manufactured for only four years when it became discontinued in 1974.
