Smith & Wesson introduced the model 63 double action revolver in 1977 as a stainless steel variation of their already existing model 34 DA revolver. This model 63 features an adjustable rear sight, 4" barrel and checkered walnut grips. In 1992, the 2" barrel revolver became a standard production product and in 1994 the walnut grips were replaced with Uncle Mike's rubber grips for the remainder of their production period. There are a number of special order variations to this model which could impact its value significantly.
