Here is a very nice Colt model 1903 Hammer semi-auto pocket pistol in 38 Rimless Auto Colt caliber with a 4 1/2" long barrel having a bright, excellent bore. This pistol has serial #23403 and was manufactured circa 1909. The metal surfaces retain about 85% original bright reflective blue finish with the balance exhibiting mostly a brown patina and containing some specks of rust staining. The trigger has more of a fire blue finish while the early variation hammer retains 98% strong original case colors. The checkered hard rubber grips rate excellent. Includes one original 7 round magazine. Mechanically, this pistol functions perfectly.  A fine example of the quality and workmanship that Colt produced 100 plus years ago.  {C&R}
