This Marlin manufactured receiver is for the model 336SC lever action carbine and is in very good condition exhibiting a mixture of thinning original blue finish with a brownish gray patina and having a few scattered specks of surface rust and honest wear. This is the only part on the model 336SC carbine that is tracked as a firearm therefore it will need to be transferred through a dealer. Receivers do not qualify as a C&R based on BATFE's guide lines. (file photo)
