This Winchester manufactured 20 3/4" second variation barrel assembly is for the model 290 semi-auto rimfire rifle in 22 S,L or LR caliber with a serial number between circa 100,000 and 350,000 and designed for use with the synthetic rear sight which mounts using a single screw and not the later dovetailed type rear sight. The barrel assembly is in very good condition retaining about 95% original blue finish with light wear and possibly a few specks of surface rust present. This barrel assembly consists of the barrel, barrel collar, metal front sight, and metal magazine tube band. (file photos)
