This Winchester manufactured fifth variation bolt assembly with a late variation checkered radius on the firing pin head, second variation bolt body and late variation firing pin is for the model 04A bolt action rimfire rifle in 22 S. L & LR caliber. This bolt assembly is in very good condition exhibiting a grayish brown patina with light wear. This bolt assembly will NOT work in the earlier 1904 or 04 chambered in 22 S, L & XL caliber.  (file photo)

Note: One distinct difference between this and earlier bolt assemblies is that this version has the firing pin return spring.
