This 15 round metal constructed magazine assembly is for the U.S. military model M1 Carbine semi-auto rifle and is in very good condition with light wear. The J, L, and C are intertwined to form a symbol that looks like a C with an upside down T sticking through the top of it. It is a type II magazine which has a ridge in the floorplate. This magazine does not have a hole in the rear bottom of the body; nor does it have a hole in the floorplate. J.L. Clark Manufacturing Co. was a wartime manufacturer of these magazines.  (file photos)
