This Winchester manufactured straight grip walnut butt stock for the model 1885 Low Wall single shot rifle with a No. 1 or 2 weight barrel and is in very good condition with light dings and handling marks. The stock is dark in color and has an added coat of varnish finish. My recommendation is to strip the varnish and redo the stock with a linseed oil or some other duller finish with the hopes of removing some of the light handling marks and lightening the color a little.
