This Colt manufactured set of third variation checkered walnut grips with gold colored factory medallions are for the Python double action revolver and are in very good condition with a few light dings and handling marks. Some of these grips are rubber stamped with a series of 6 to 8 digit numbers on their inside but none of these numbers match between the left and right sides. The fit will be off slightly when comparing one side with the other and will require light sanding and refinishing however their fit to the grip frame will be perfect. The third variation grips were produced for revolvers manufactured between 1974 and 1982. The grip screw is sold separately.  (file photo)
