This Winchester manufactured plain pistol grip walnut butt stock with checkered steel butt plate is for the Pre-War model 64 lever action rifle and is in very good condition having an oil finish and honest wear. The original butt plate exhibits a mixture of original blue finish and a gray patina. A sling swivel like those found on standard grade pre-64 model 70 rifles has been added along the toe line.
