This Remington manufactured early variation receiver without the scope mounting grooves is for the model 521-T bolt action rimfire rifle and is in very good condition exhibiting a mixture of original blue finish blending with a brown patina and having a few specks of light surface rust. This is the only part on the model 521-T rifle that is tracked as a firearm therefore it will need to be transferred through a dealer. Receivers do not qualify as a C&R based on BATFE's guide lines.
