This Winchester manufactured second variation lower tang is for the post 64 model 94 lever action carbine manufactured between 1967 and 1977 having a serial number below 4,580,000. This lower tang has the two support rails on the side of the front most section that lock into the receiver and the small double protruding points at the front. The first variation tangs do not have the double protruding points but are likely interchangeable. This tang is in very good condition with light wear. (file photo)
