This Winchester manufactured 11/16" long magazine plug screw is for the solid frame model 55 lever action rifle which uses the flat magazine plug and has the non-threaded hole on the underside of the barrel where the tip of this screw rests within. This screw is in very good condition exhibiting a grayish brown patina with light wear. (file photo)
