This Marlin manufactured 4th variation receiver features the new style bolt handle cut, style 3 striker knob notch, intermediate style safety mounting holes, and smooth non-grooved top. This receiver is for the model 81DL bolt action rimfire rifle which uses a new style bolt assembly and style 3 striker knob. The overall condition is very good retaining 80% thinning original blue finish with the balance exhibiting a grayish brown patina. This is the only part on the model 81DL rifle that is tracked as a firearm therefore it will need to be transferred through a dealer. Receivers do not qualify as a C&R based on BATFE's guide lines.
