This Thompson Center manufactured late variation octagon barrel measures 31" long not including the breech plug and is for the percussion Hawken muzzle loading rifle. This barrel assembly is in 50 caliber and has the 1:66 round ball twist. This assembly features the late variation adjustable rear sight and patridge style front sight. The overall condition is very good retaining 97% original blue finish with a few specks of rust staining. The bore rates near excellent. Unfortunately the ramrod is missing.  (file photos)
