Here is an early Marlin model 444 lever action rifle in 444 Marlin caliber with a 24" barrel having a bright, excellent bore. This rifle has serial #AB71183 and was manufactured in 1966. The metal surfaces retain 99% original blue finish. The trigger retains 98% of its original gold colored finish. The straight grip semi-fancy Monte Carlo style walnut butt stock with fluted comb and factory recoil pad and forearm rate excellent with an oil finish. Mechanically, this rifle functions perfectly. The rifle is equipped with a folding rear sight and sling swivel studs. The front sight is missing along with three of the four filler screws on the top of the receiver. A very fine second year of manufacture 444 Marlin rifle. {C&R}
