Here is a nice early Steyr Mannlicher model M bolt action carbine in 30-06 caliber with a 20" long hammer forged barrel having a bright, excellent bore. This rifle has serial #9305 and 1969 proof marks. The metal surfaces retain 99% original blue finish. The spoon handle style bolt handle retains all of its bright nickel finish. The skip line checkered pistol grip Monte Carlo style full length European Walnut stock with cheek rest and rosewood grip cap rates near excellent with a few light dings and handling marks. This rifle features a factory vented rubber recoil pad, sling swivel studs, double set triggers and a detachable five round rotary magazine. The front sight hood is missing along with the simple blade style rear sight. A Bushnell 3-9x40mm variable power scope with duplex reticle and lens covers has been added using two piece bases and rings. Mechanically, this rifle functions perfectly. A nice high end hunting rifle for the individual who expects better quality and workmanship in a firearm.
