Here is a very nice Colt model 357 large frame double action revolver in 357 Magnum caliber with a 6" long barrel having a bright, excellent bore. This revolver has serial #1563 and was manufactured in 1955 (second year of production). The metal surfaces retain 97-98% original blue finish with the loss located primarily at the muzzle from holster wear. The checkered walnut grips with factory medallions rate near excellent with a few light handling marks. This revolver features a ramp front sight, fully adjustable rear sight and a wide spur hammer. Mechanically, this revolver functions perfectly. A fine early collectible for those who don't want to pay the price tag of a Python from this era.  {C&R}  (see photos)
