Here is a fine cased Smith & Wesson model 57 double action revolver in 41 Magnum caliber with a 6" pinned barrel having a bright, excellent bore. This revolver has serial #N787292 and was manufactured some time prior to 1982. The revolver features a ramped front sight with red insert, adjustable rear sight with white outline, counterbored six shot cylinder and 10 groove serrated grip strap. The metal surfaces retain 99% original bright blue finish with minimal light wear due primarily to handling. The .500" Target hammer and .500" Target trigger retain 98% original case colors. The checkered Goncalo Alves grips with factory medallions rate excellent. This revolver rests in its original wood hinge top case. The case interior has deteriorated which is normal. The top foam insert has been reversed to protect what remaining blue is still in place and the molded plastic bottom has a blue cloth laying over it. The papers and cleaning impliments are not present. A great investment grade Smith.  (see photos)
