Here is a nice older Marlin model 336 Sporting Carbine in 30-30 Win caliber with a 20" barrel having a bright, near excellent bore. This rifle has serial #K19065 and was manufactured circa 1953. The metal surfaces retain 90-92% thinning original blue finish with a few specks of light surface rust and the lever and belly of the receiver exhibiting a brown patina. The pistol grip walnut butt stock with fluted comb and semi-beavertail forearm rate very good with light dings and handling marks. Mechanically, this carbine functions perfectly. The carbine is equipped with a Williams red fiber optic front sight on the Marlin ramp, a slot blank in the rear dovetail of the barrel and a Lyman No. 66 LA side receiver peep sight. This early firearm is not drilled and tapped for a scope mount. A nice early 70 plus year old Marlin carbine. {C&R}
