This Remington Arms - Union Metallic Cartridge Co. manufactured pink and blue tartan (plaid) designed cardboard box contains all 50 rounds of Smokeless 22 Short ammunition as well as a slip of paper announcing the combining of the names Remington Arms and Union Metallic Cartridge Co. and is in very good condition with light shelf wear. The side band of paper to seal the box is detached, in two pieces and exhibits some wear and possible water staining. The copper casings are tarnished and the bullets have oxidation present.
