Antique Stevens Tip-Up Single Shot Target Rifle in 22 Rimfire

     Here is a Stevens Tip-Up single shot rifle in 22 rimfire caliber with a 26" part round part octagon barrel barrel having a bright, excellent relined bore. This rifle has serial #146 and was manufactured until 1895. The barrel barrel exhibits an even mixture of thinning original blue finish with a brown patina as well as scattered specks of older rust present. The receiver and cresent butt plate retain about 93% original but dull nickel finish with light dings and scratches. The areas of loss are located primarily on the high edges of the receiver and the butt plate which have exposed a rich ochre color to the brass parts. The straight grip walnut butt stock rates excellent having been very professionally refinished. The rifle is equipped with a full length Stevens marked scope with a cross hair reticle, decent optics and is serial numbered 161. Mechanically, the rifle appears to function properly. {Antique} (see photos)
