C-I-L Imperial High Velocity Box of 22 LR Ammunition - Partial Box

This Canadian Industries Limited manufactured gold, black, & red cardboard box contains 17 of the original 50 rounds of Imperial High Velocity 22 LR ammunition and is in good to very good condition with light wear, a dent in the top, front edge, and moderate scratching. A crease is present in the top of the right end flap. The top panel displays the words "22 LONG RIFLE" printed in dull gold and the front and back panels state the muzzle velocity as 1335 feet per second. The product code "RF-62" is printed on the top portion of both end flaps. The brass casings display the "D-5" headstamp and have a light tarnish present.  (file photos)

Date of Manufacture: This style box was introduced in 1967 and was produced until 1976.

Note: This box is similar to the Huegel # CIL-7 LR-1 variation. The difference observed is that this box features dull gold printing instead of white. This box lists a muzzle velocity of 1335 feet per second.
