Eley Short Pistol Match Box of 22 Short Ammuition
This Eley manufactured green, black and white cardboard box contains all 50 rounds of Short Pistol Match 22 Short ammunition with brass cases and is in near excellent condition with light shelf wear. This box displays a small thumb cut at each end of the box. The bottom of the box states "made by Imperial Metal Industries (Kynoch) Limited / Birmingham 6 England". The brass cases display the "E-24" headstamp. (file photos)
Date of Manufacture: This style box was introduced in the 1960's.
Note: This box is similar to the Huegel # IMI-2 S-4 variation. The difference observed is that this box displays the "A" style bottom, but does not match Huegel's example completely due to different wording.
