Collectible Winchester Model 62A Takedown Rimfire Rifle
Here is a very fine Winchester model 62A slide action rifle in 22 S,L or LR caliber with a 23" long barrel having a bright, excellent bore. This rifle has serial #244893 on the receiver and lower tang and was manufactured circa 1948. The metal surfaces retain 97% original blue finish with the only loss due to sliding the action. The straight grip walnut butt stock and grooved round bottom (early style) forearm rate excellent with a couple very minor handling marks and all of the original factory finish intact. All screws have not been turned since installed when it was new and the proper sights are in place. Mechanically, this rifle functions as flawlessly as it looks. This rifle is the first of an older gentleman wanting to start downsizing his personal collection. A high condition Winchester rimfire rifle for the collector who wants condition. {C&R} (see photos)
