Colt Challenger Semi-Auto Pistol in 22 LR w/ Factory Box
Here is a very nice Colt Challenger semi-auto pistol in 22 LR caliber with a 6" barrel having a bright, excellent bore. This pistol has serial #20288-C and was manufactured circa 1951. The metal surfaces retain about 97% original blue finish with the loss due to high edge wear. The checkered brown synthetic grips with moulded Rampant Colt logo rate excellent. Mechanically, this pistol functions perfectly. Included with the pistol is one original magazine and the hinge top brown cardboard box with treated paper. The box rates about very good with the front lip of the top section missing. The box does not have any label present nor does it appear there ever was one. A fine collectible pistol that could also provide some enjoyment at the pistol range. {C&R}
