Ramrod - Rifle - Model 1873 - 3rd Variation - Original
This Springfield Armory manufactured 35 1/2" long third variation ramrod is for the model 1873 trapdoor rifle with a 32 5/8" long barrel in 45-70 Govt. caliber and is in very good condition exhibiting a brownish gray patina mixed with some traces of original blue finish and some specks of rust and honest wear. Note: model 1873 Trapdoor rifles with serial numbers circa 105,000 or higher would have used this ramrod.
