Receiver - Late Variation - (FFL Required)
This Remington manufactured intermediate variation receiver is for the No. 6 falling block rimfire rifle and is in very good condition exhibiting a grayish brown patina with a few faint specks of pin prick pitting and possibly some faint traces of mellowed original color case hardening in the protected areas. The left side of the receiver is marked "MODEL 6 / (serial number) / Remington Arms Co., Inc. Remington / Ilion Works. Ilion, NY Made In USA". This is the only part on the No. 6 falling block rifle that is tracked as a firearm therefore it will need to be transferred through a dealer. Receivers do not qualify as a C&R based on BATFE's guide lines. (file photos)
