Remington Hi-Speed Kleanbore Box of 22 LR Ammunition - Hollow Point

This Remington manufactured red, green, and white cardboard box contains all 50 rounds of Hi-Speed Kleanbore 22 LR ammunition with brass cases and hollow point bullets and is in very good condition with light shelf wear and a wrinkle in the front panel, likely caused by something heavy set on top of the box. The right end flap has a crease across the center and a triangular piece of the colorful layer of paper is missing just above it. The white portions of the box have turned a light tan with age. This box displays the white oval around the words "HOLLOW POINT" and the half diamond thumb cut. The brass casings display the "HI-16" headstamp and have a few scattered specks of tarnish present.

Date of Manufacture: This style box was introduced in 1946 and was produced until around 1960.

Note: This box is similar to the Huegel # REM-14 LR-4 variation. The differences observed are that the top portion of the end flaps are tan or white in color with the warning printed in red and this box uses brass casings.
