Barrel - 22LR - 24" Long - Early Variation - Original
This Mossberg manufactured 24" early variation barrel is for the early variation model 42B bolt action rimfire rifle and is in very good condition exhibiting a brownish gray patina with light wear and a few scattered specks of surface rust staining. The bore is bright and rates excellent. The markings are clear and legible. This barrel has the dovetail front sight notch and only one factory hole for mounting the rear sight. Late variation barrels have a single drilled & tapped hole for the front sight and two holes for the rear sight.
