Chilean Model 1895 Mauser Bolt Action Rifle in 7x57 by Loewe

        Here is a Chilean model 1895 Mauser bolt action rifle in 7x57 caliber by Loewe of Berlin. This rifle has serial #H9576 and a 29" barrel with a bright, near excellent bore. This rifle has all matching numbers except for the cleaning rod. The metal surfaces retain about 85% of its thinning original blue finish with the balance exhibiting a grayish brown patina. The walnut stock and hand guard rate very good with numerous light dings and dents overall. There is a shallow chip that has been missing for decades just in front of the bolt handle (see photo). Mechanically, this rifle functions perfectly. A nice example for the shooter, collector and investor.  {C&R}
