Custom Remington Model 40-X Benchrest Single Shot BA Target Rifle in 308 Win

     Here is a custom Remington model 40-X Benchrest bolt action single shot target rifle in 308 Win caliber with a 26" unmarked stainless heavy bull barrel having a bright, excellent bore. The receiver has serial #39590 B and retains 99% original blue finish. The pistol grip bench rest style walnut stock rates near excellent with light handling marks. The receiver is equipped with scope mounting rings attached to a Redfield one piece base. The top rear section of the barrel has a flat spot designed to not interfere with a large objective end on a scope. Mechanically, this rifle functions perfectly.   (see photos)
