Savage Fox Sterlingworth Double Barrel Shotgun
Here is a Utica, NY manufactured Savage Fox Sterlingworth double barrel shotgun in 12 gauge with 28" long barrels having fixed improved modified chokes and bright, excellent bores. The barrels retain 97% of the blue finish with a few specks of surface oxidation, pin prick pitting and honest wear. The receiver has simple border line engraving and exhibits a pleasing gray gun metal color with perhaps 25% strong original case colors in the protected areas. The oil finished checkered walnut butt stock and forearm rate very good except for a chip missing from the top front of the butt stock to the left of the top lever. The lock up is nice and tight with the top lever resting slightly left of center. A nice solid shotgun. {C&R} (see photos)
