This Winchester manufactured early variation finger grooved walnut forearm is for the model 1885 single shot Musket in 22 rimfire caliber with the barrel band that secures using a band spring instead of the later band screw and inletting designed for the flat type mainspring instead of the later coil type mainspring. This forearm is in very good condition with an oil finish and handling marks.
