History: The Remington Arms Company introduced the model 33 bolt action single shot rifle in 1932 and chambered it is 22 Short, Long & Long Rifle caliber. This rifle features a 24" long barrel and a pistol grip walnut stock with a finger grooved forearm. The rifle was manufactured in four different variations known as the standard grade (33), the NRA grade (33 NRA), the peep sight grade (41-P) and the smooth bore grade (33 SB). The standard or "A" grade was by far the most common and featured barrel mount sights. This rifle was discontinued in 1935 with 263,557 rifles produced and was replaced by the model 41 bolt action single shot rifle.
