This Springfield Armory manufactured ramrod catch with swivel is for the model 1888 ramrod bayonet style trapdoor rifle in 45-70 Govt. caliber and is in very good condition exhibiting a brownish gray patina and some specks of rust and honest wear. The mounting pin is sold separately. (file photo)
