This Springfield Armory manufactured intermediate variation trigger guard assembly is for the trapdoor rifle in 45-70 Govt. caliber and is in very good condition exhibiting a grayish brown patina with light wear. The intermediate variation trigger guard assembly features the second variation serrated face trigger.  (file photo)
