This Hamilton & Son manufactured late variation blue finished stamped metal receiver is for the No. 027 single shot rimfire rifle in 22 caliber and is in very good condition exhibiting a grayish brown patina with some scattered specks of rust and traces of original blue finish in protected areas. This is the only part on the No. 027 rifle that is tracked as a firearm therefore it will need to be transferred through a dealer. Receivers do not qualify as a C&R based on BATFE's guide lines.  (file photo)
