This Remington manufactured early variation bolt assembly is for the model 581 bolt action rimfire rifle and is in very good condition with light wear. The early variation bolt assembly has the beveled face on the bolt head and the bolt body lacks the locking notch therefore the bolt head is allowed to rotate freely.  (file photos)
