This Remington manufactured third variation 23" long (25" long overall) pre-grade barrel is for the early model 572 Fieldmaster slide action rimfire rifle which uses the open leaf rear sight and dovetail mounted front sight (sold separately). This barrel is designed for the separate ejector, late variation forend hanger and cartridge ramp. The overall condition is very good retaining most of its thinning original blue finish with some areas of brown patina, light wear and some specks of surface rust. (file photos)
