This Remington manufactured large size hard rubber butt plate with widow's peak at the top, checkering, and intertwined factory logo is for the model 1889 hammer double shotgun and is in very good condition being void of any cracks or chips. The butt plate measures 5 1/4" tall and 1 5/8" at its widest width. (file photos)
