This Remington manufactured fourth variation serrated steel butt plate is for the No. 4 Rolling Block rimfire rifle with the intermediate variation butt stock only and is in very good condition exhibiting a mixture of original blue finish with a brown patina and having some specks of surface rust present.  (file photos)

Note: the curvature of the third and fourth variation butt plates will only adapt to the intermediate variation butt stock and the 1st, 2nd and 5th variation butt plates have different contours which will not fit the intermediate variation butt stock.
