This Remington manufactured receiver is for the model 742 ADL & CDL Deluxe Woodsmaster semi-auto rifles and includes the receiver stud and barrel extension bolt. The overall condition is very good retaining about 97% original blue finish. The internal rails contain very light signs of chatter marks. These chatter marks are caused by the teeth on the breech bolt bitting into the rails on the receiver are a major problem with these rifles. This is the only part on the model 742 rifle that is tracked as a firearm therefore it will need to be transferred through a dealer. Receivers do not qualify as a C&R based on BATFE's guide lines.
