This Remington manufactured metal butt plate with circular "Remington - UMC" logo is typically (but not always) found on the later Improved No. 6 falling block rimfire rifle manufactured after 1912. This butt plate is in good condition exhibiting a brown patina with surface rust specks and honest wear and measures 3 15/16" tall and 1 1/8" wide. (file photo)
