This Remington manufactured checkered round knob pistol grip walnut buttstock assembly is for the model 1889 hammer double shotgun and is in very good condition with light dings, handling marks and a few short (sound) cracks present. This stock may have been lightly sanded and refinished some time ago. This buttstock assembly consists of the walnut buttstock and hard rubber butt plate with both buttplate mounting screws.
