This Remington manufactured first variation barreled receiver and guard assembly are for the model 12-C slide action rimfire rifle and is in very good condition exhibiting a brown patina with some scattered specks of older rust and traces of original blue finish in protected areas. This assembly consists of the 24" long octagon barrel in 22 S, L & LR caliber, receiver with both receiver bushings and the early variation trigger guard which has a matching serial number to the receiver and includes both receiver & guard guide pins and the complete safety assembly. The early variation trigger guard is designed for the 1909 variant ejector which is sold separately. The receiver is the only part on the model 12 rifle that is tracked as a firearm therefore it will need to be transferred through a dealer. Receivers do not qualify as a C&R based on BATFE's guide lines. (file photos)
