This Remington manufactured frame (receiver) is for the model 1889 hammer double shotgun in 10 gauge and was manufactured after 1898. The overall condition is very good exhibiting a grayish brown patina with some scattered spots of rust staining and traces of original case hardened colors in protected areas. This receiver is the only part that can not be shipped directly to the customer as it is what is tracked as the firearm and must be sent to a fedrerally licensed firearms dealer. Receivers do not qualify as a C&R based upon BATFE guide lines.  (file photos)
