This Remington manufactured pistol grip walnut stock sub-assembly is for the model 550-1 semi-auto rimfire rifle in the A grade configuration which uses barrel mounted sights and not the receiver peep sight.  This stock sub-assembly is in very good condition with an added oil finish and scattered light dings and handling marks overall. This sub-assembly consists of the stock, butt plate, both butt plate screws (straight slot or Philips head) and the takedown screw escutcheon. (file photos)
