This Remington manufactured third variation receiver sub-assembly with scope mounting groove and receiver bushing are for the model 572 Fieldmaster slide action rimfire rifle. This third variation receiver is designed for the 572 which has the locking bar assembly and uses the late variation action bar and late variation breech bolt. This receiver is in very good condition retaining most of its original blue finish with light wear. Receivers are the only part on the model 572 Fieldmaster rifle that is tracked as a firearm therefore it will need to be transferred through a dealer. Receivers do not qualify as a C&R based on BATFE's guide lines. (file photos)
